Pierre Belanger and Neil Brenner present the ‘Urbanism, Landscape, Ecology’ concentration area of the Master in Design Studies at Harvard Graduate School of Design. The video provides a synthetic description of the articulation of the design, geographic and political economic approaches of the program and how they are materialized in the students’ powerful and illuminating visualizations — a good example of how schools of architecture should mobilize the enormous potential of their scholars for politically relevant accounts and mappings of contemporary spatialities of global urbanization. Familiar faces and very good vibes and memories from my recent past…
