La revista Urban Studies celebra su 50º aniversario proporcionando acceso libre a 15 de sus mejores artículos: los cinco artículos más citados, los cinco más descargados en los últimos años y cinco artículos de solera entre finales de los 1960 y principios de los 1980. Doreen Massey, Allen J. Scott o Neil Brenner, entre otros autores; gentrificación, reestructuración industrial, reescalamiento de las ciudades, reflexiones sobre la densidad urbana, impacto de los juegos olímpicos en las ciudades, entre los temas tratados. Hasta se pueden votar los tres artículos favoritos para los lectores.
